Pre-Wash Cycle
Pre-Wash Cycle

“Oh my god… Finally. Dear lord. I cant fu**ing stand it when my family loads the dishwasher like a god damn 4 year old. There is a method to this madness people…When I open an unorganized dishwasher it’s like pulling back the yellow tarp and finding a dead hooker. Just sad and disgusting. A place for everything and everything in its place. I can rest easy tonight knowing the world has learned something.”

Tony Noriega, an obviously disgusted Classic Structure (STJ) who has finally been vindicated in his rightness, commenting on Melanie Pinola’s Lifehacker blog and video on the right way to load the dishwasher .

Oh Tony, we hear your pain. We must be living in the first world to get upset by this, but boy does it bug people, us included. I can’t tell you how many glasses, both acrylic and glass have been broken by other’s incompetence. Or how many times I’ve come downstairs to the lovely smell of burning plastic in the morning. It’s even harder to get people to do this properly when there’s a reason they are incompetent. We once had married seminar participants who were both Smarts (NTs) and had an elaborate loading system based on making it easier for them to unload the dishwasher. Big picture thinking at it’s finest, especially if the end goal is to make unloading easier, but there are some logical downsides. In the spirit of “It’s always good to know the rules before you start breaking them”, watch here for the best, easiest and freaking proper way to load the dishwasher.
