I thought I’d highlight an Organic’s front hall today because when compared to yesterday’s Classic front hall PixieTip, it would demonstrate how different types put their mark on the same solution. Same concept, very different look. As Classics, we’re very matchy, matchy, neat and quite a few of us are fastidious. Organics are a little more lax. Now, how lax depends on whether you’re an Organic Structure or an Organic Freedom. The latter being more lax than the former.

The image above is an Organic Freedom’s entryway. What I love about this image is that unbeknownst to you, gentle reader, this Organic Freedom used to have the same individualized tote bag idea as yesterday’s Classic solution. She bought them monogrammed for each family member and hoped everyone would use them to store things and then transport them to their own spaces upstairs. What happened was a bunch of big junk drawers posing as bags, ignored by all. A slight personality style/design difference is that our Organic Freedom didn’t go the boat tote route but chose these natural jute bags with leather handles from Ballard Designs. She like the aesthetic.

Another difference between these two solutions is that the Classic one just looks a little bit neater. And this quite frankly is true of most Classic Solutions versus Organic solutions. It’s Classics attention to detail and Organic’s tendency to see the big picture that likely accounts for this difference. But, trust me, there are plenty of messy Classic closets in this world because everybody gets overwhelmed at various points in their life and then chooses to ignore eye sores in their house until they get their groove back.
